At Parker Valley Farm & School of Horsemanship we feel it is important for the
young horse enthusiast to learn that there is much more to horsemanship than
merely horseback riding. We sincerely feel that part of the partnership between
horse and rider is also learning to care for these grand animals. Along with learning
to ride, our riders will also learn how to properly groom horses, tack them, properly
cool them down and  how to safely handle them in all situations.

Our
First Goal in teaching is to keep our horseback riders safe. Our Second Goal
is to make every rider's experience fun and enjoyable. Our
Third Goal is to help our
riders achieve their own personal horsemanship aspirations - whatever those may
be.

Our youngest riders are 4 years of age. All of our beginner riders start learning in
private lessons which are approximately 30 minutes of riding time. The cost begins
at $40 per lesson. As our beginning horseback riders advance, they can move into
groups of 3-5 riders in sessions lasting 45 minutes.

Also specializing in the Training & Showing of a rare and incredibly beautiful breed
of horse, the American Saddlebred, many of our riders also compete in national and
international Horse Shows.

Parker Valley Farm & School of Horsemanship offers horseback riding lessons and
training to all levels of horse enthusiasts, a full horse training and show barn, and
facility rentals for Birthday Parties and Day Camps.
